Celebrated AFL star and EngageRM Commercial Account Manager Dale Morris has taken the next step in his career and will join the Brisbane Lions as a Development Coach.
Morris joined EngageRM after a 17 year career with the Western Bulldogs. He quickly became a respected member of the team, inspiring others though sharing his experiences as a professional athlete and coach.
The Lions approached Morris with the coaching opportunity, after the pandemic cut short his coaching career in 2020.
“As much as I am thankful for the opportunity to join the Lions, I’m immensely grateful for my time at EngageRM” Morris said.
“This change was not an easy decision, and that is due to how much I’ve enjoyed my time with the team from EngageRM. It will be sad to say goodbye and I wish them all nothing but every success in the future”.
Although bittersweet news, the EngageRM team are proud and excited for Morris to return to a sport and role he loves, embarking on this new chapter in his professional journey.
“Working closely with Dale has been nothing short of a pleasure. We are immensely sad to see him leave, but all wish him every success in his new role at the Lions” EngageRM’s Commercial Director Tim Barber said.
“During his time here, his impact within our business was far and wide, with many of his key messages leaving a lasting impact” said EngageRM CEO Ned Coten.
“The knowledge he has bestowed on us from his years within the AFL system will stay with us all for many years to come, and we’ll be watching closely” Coten said.
EngageRM is in the process of expanding its Sales and Services teams and will announce a new team member in the coming weeks.
