Many of our clients have worked with Vicky over the years as she supports them through the implementation of our platform. Since joining EngageRM over four years ago, she has become a champion of our platform within the business and a key member of our professional services team.
How would you explain your role at EngageRM?
VW: Since coming on board over four years ago, I have worn multiple hats in the business. EngageRM has grown significantly in the last two years and as a result my role concentrates on functional consulting and leading implementations, collaborating with the customer from project kick off right through to Go Live.
What does an ordinary day look like for you?
VW: An ordinary day for me consists of managing multiple project plans and deadlines, organising client workshops, internal product meetings and assisting new EngageRM staff with any questions they may have as they build their knowledge of the platform.
You have a unique perspective as both a customer and implementor of our platform, what drew you to EngageRM?
VW: I worked as an accountant for over 20 years across a number of different industries and was looking for a change in direction. I am known to be a process orientated person so with my finance background I thought my skills would be well suited to leading business process improvement. My employer at the time was an EngageRM client and I could see for the business to achieve full value from the solution they required a resource to work with the business stakeholders and the vendor to implement change. After a number of years in that role and opportunity came to join the EngageRM team and use the skills I had learnt to work with multiple clients in a similar way.
How have you seen the EngageRM platform change since when you first encountered it too now?
VW: Over 8 years ago when I began using the EngageRM solution it was to centralise data and business processes of the organisation’s corporate clients which it did well. However, in a sporting and entertainment organisation this is just one part of its business. EngageRM has evolved significantly to centralise many of the business processes within these organisations and integrate so many data sources to achieve the single source view of data that so many of our customers want to achieve.
What are some of your favourite things about working for EngageRM?
VW: Off the top, the culture is outstanding. We have a talented team who want to see our company grow and be a successful global player. I’m based in Adelaide so I work remotely like many of my team but from time to time I love the opportunity to travel and visit clients for a face to face catch up.
What are you aiming to achieve with the work you do?
VW: I love a challenge, so with every challenge I aim to tackle it head on and succeed. May that be a new client or a new role I undertake in the business.
What excites you both professionally and personally?
VW: Professionally, it is important to me to continue to grow and learn new skills but also pass on what I have learnt to others. Personally, I have just started a six-week fitness challenge to try and improve my running and I have also decided to pick up windsurfing again after 25 years!
