Hi, I’m Reshween Jagjit
But you can call me Resh
I was born and raised in Malaysia
But/and I’m currently in Melbourne, Australia
You’ll find me eating my mum’s chicken curry, she makes it the best!
And you’ll see me drinking just a standard bottle of Coke
A sports moment I’ll never forget is when the US Women’s National Team won the 2015 FIFAWWC. It was the moment I realized that I wanted to work in sport because the world was finally starting to pay attention to women’s football, and I wanted to be a part of growing the game
The sports venue you’ll have trouble getting me out of is Old Trafford in Manchester, I’ve only been there once. As a huge Man United fan, being able to attend a game there would be a dream
I idolise no one in particular! I admire certain public figures, but I wouldn’t say I have one specific idol. I mostly admire women who speak up against inequality and work towards making the world a better, safer and more equal place for women
On the weekend you’ll find me binging a show on Netflix or playing my guitar
I’m always happy to talk about women’s football (or soccer). I believe there is so much potential for the women’s game to grow and I hope to learn from the brilliant minds in Australia so that I can someday return to Malaysia and help grow women’s soccer there.
Something you may not know about me is I got a junior black belt in taekwondo when I was 12
Reshween would love to hear from you. Here are the details...
