Role Overview

The Commercial Lead, Australasia will be responsible for driving the go-to-market approach in the region, lead the revenue driving efforts with prospective customers, and work with our post-sales teams to deliver exceptional customer experience. This position will report directly to the EngageRM Commercial Director.

As the Commercial Lead, Australasia you will:

  • Identify and approach target clients, with a clear strategy to create new opportunities;
  • Drive sales pipeline to develop the business, and report against this on a regular basis;
  • Follow the EngageRM sales process within the CRM, and live out of this platform;
  • Sell the product with technical support from the existing team, then maintain and grow the relationship;
  • Build relationships and generate referrals to enable sales growth;
  • Identify key partnerships and opportunities that will enable long-term success in the market;
  • Identify additional resources to support business growth.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Need a ‘hunter’ mentality. We are seeking someone who can continue to grow the business on the back of a hugely successful 2021;
  • Understand sales process and the ability to run sales opportunities from start to finish;
  • Have a track record of building pipeline and overachieving sales targets;
  • Ability to build relationships and be a trusted advisor;
  • In addition to sales skills, be a leader. There is plenty of opportunity to grow within the business;
  • Have a strong understanding of technology, ideally have sold similar products in the past and be familiar with technology / SaaS sales in the market;
  • Have a strong understanding of and affiliation with sport – ideally you will understand sport & technology and how they work together. Ideally have experience selling a related product into the same market areas;
  • Overall, a leader with an entrepreneurial approach who has a track record of ‘making things happen’ and has the intelligence, drive and skills to build EngageRM as the number one brand in its category in the market.
