After first encountering the Dynamics CRM platform through his work in the financial services sector, Thibaut is our next addition to the team in the UK. As our new Dynamics365 Implementor, Thibaut is excited to help our clients maximise their solution and save their time in the process.  

 

Has sport been a big influence on your life? 

TL: For me, sport has been more of an enjoyment rather than an enthralling passion. I do follow athletics globally mainly because I love to run myself. It’s more something I either do or watch to relax and zone out for a little while. That’s what running is for me, it’s a time where I relax and take some time out of my day for myself.  

 

What led you into the tech industry?  

TL: I’ve worked more on the financial services side of the tech industry, so I started out in a bank as a Data Analyst. That was where I first worked with a CRM and it sparked my interest because I wanted to see what else it could do rather than just manipulate data. That was how I joined the CRM team there and worked with the Microsoft Dynamics platform for the first time.  

 

You’ve worked with the Dynamics platform for many years, what do you enjoy about it? 

TL: There are two branches to this. Firstly, the Dynamics platform has evolved over time, when I first started working on the platform, it was on premises, now its evolved to the cloud and the system has gone from strength to strength. The other branch is about how the platform works to make our lives easier and give us time back into our day. It simplifies what we do and helps us achieve our goals in a more efficient way. 

 

How did you find out about the open role at EngageRM, and what drew you to the business?  

TL: I left my last job around 9 months ago and set up a small snack company because I was just interested in doing something different. My strategy was always to be around only for a short period of time and get it up and running and then return to the tech industry in some way. Once I was ready to do that, I updated my LinkedIn, and someone contacted me and that began the whole process. There were two factors that drew me in, first was that it was a relatively small business which is something I was looking for, and the fact that when I looked into the platform, I quickly realised there is nothing like it on the market currently.   

 

What are you aiming to achieve with the work that you do? 

TL: For me, I’m always aware that whenever you implement something into a business, there are two parties in that relationship, you and the customer. I think it’s pivotal that we understand the relationship between us and the client and give them a solution that is exactly what they need. My vision is that every time we work with a client, we deliver a quality product and service to them.  

 

What excites you both personally and professionally at the moment? 

TL: Professionally, I’m excited to be joining the EngageRM team and learning about the platform. Even though I have previous experience with Dynamics, I still see this as a new start and that there’s a lot to learn on the platform. Also, from the people I’ve met and what I’ve seen, everyone is really excited about what we can all achieve, which you can’t help but mirror. Personally, I’m excited to travel and see the world, to meet new people and experience new cultures.
