Meet Kayla Paulsen

Hi, I’m Kayla Paulsen    

I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri  

And I’m currently in Milwaukee, Wisconsin 

You’ll find me eating Kansas City BBQ because I lived in Kansas City, MO for several years and have family there now, so I’m very partial to it. I’m also a big fan of tacos. 

And you’ll see me drinking Diet Coke, at any given time, for any given situation. I’m partial to a Diet Coke from McDonald’s, but really any will do. 

A sports moment I’ll never forget is being able to see the Kansas City Chiefs win three Super Bowls in such a short time, it has been incredible. I’m a big Kansas City Chiefs fan.

The sports or entertainment venue you’ll have trouble getting me out of is Lambeau Field. I quite literally had to catch my breath the first time I saw it. Being a Wisconsinite, I’d grown up watching the Green Bay Packers play on tv and when I finally made it to a game, I was in awe of all the tradition and history. 

I idolise Jack Antonoff – he’s just such a cool guy. His music has had such an impact on my life. 

On the weekend you’ll find me reading, traveling, going for bike rides, and hanging out with my husband and our three cats. I thrive in the fall when football and basketball seasons are in full swing.

I’m always happy to talk about the Milwaukee Bucks and Kansas City Chiefs as I am a big fan of both teams. I also have a lot to say about Taylor Swift, my cats, and why Parks and Recreation is a better show than The Office. Professionally though, I’m a big believer in it’s okay to make mistakes, but it isn’t okay to not learn from them.

Something you may not know about me is my husband and I have a goal to visit every National Park in the United States. Three down and many more to go!
