Hi, I’m Reshween Jagjit
But you can call me Resh
I was born and raised in Malaysia
But/and I’m currently in Melbourne, Australia
You’ll find me eating Malaysian food, it’s the closest I can get to home!
And you’ll see me drinking a hot chocolate for a warm drink or just a standard bottle of Coke, but not the sugar-free stuff!
A sports moment I’ll never forget is when the US Women’s National Team won the 2015 FIFAWWC. It was the moment I realized that I wanted to work in sport because the world was finally starting to pay attention to women’s football, and I wanted to be a part of growing the game. Also when Manchester United won the UEFA Champions League in 2008. It was probably the only time I shed some tears as a football fan.
The sports venue you’ll have trouble getting me out of is Old Trafford in Manchester, I’ve only been there once. As a huge Man United fan, being able to attend a game there would be a dream
I idolise not one person in particular! I mostly admire women who speak up against inequality and work towards making the world a better, safer and more equal place for women
On the weekend you’ll find me binging a true crime documentary on Netflix, playing my guitar or playing my PlayStation
I’m always happy to talk about women’s football (or soccer), true crime documentaries/podcasts, or cults. Cults just fascinate me!
Something you may not know about me is I got a junior black belt in taekwondo when I was 11
