Meet Steven Honkoop

Hi, I’m Steven Honkoop

But you can call me Honkers

I was born and raised in Adelaide, Australia

And I’m currently in Adelaide

You’ll find me eating Pasta Fazool – a super flavourful and simple Italian pasta and bean soup, my Grandma made it a lot

And you’ll see me drinking Farmers Union Iced Coffee during the day. Beer or a Wild Turkey at night

A sports moment I’ll never forget is the 97 AFL Grand Final followed by the 98 AFL Grand Final

The sports venue you’ll have trouble getting me out of is Unley Oval in Adelaide – nothing better than a drink with mates watching suburban footy

I idolise my grandfather, an Italian immigrant who came to Australia after the war  with nothing, and has strong family values

On the weekend you’ll find me working with hands – Woodworking, Pottering around the garden, Cooking and BBQíng

I’m always happy to talk about my family, in particular my children. I want them to have opportunity and safety in life.

Something you may not know about me is I was once a cheesemaker
