Role Overview
The role is for a specialist Microsoft Technical Operations and System Administrator. You will be a key member of the team, dealing with our wide range of Microsoft deployments, dealing with related administrative issues and ensuring that the ecosystem we operate in works effectively.
This full-time role is Melbourne-based, but can be undertaken remotely, with a requirement for face-to-face engagement 1 – 2 days per week if possible. You will work with a highly experienced and very passionate team, with interesting and varied work and significant career opportunities as we grow quickly in Australia, North America, and Europe.
About Our Technology
Our product is centered on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Azure / Dataverse (CDS) environment and the greater Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Dataflow, Power BI.
About you
- You really understand the Microsoft environment and are proficient in dealing with all aspects of it. Not by instructions, but by “getting” it.
- You have a tertiary qualification in a field related to Information Technology
- Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes, as well as help shape these policies and procedures
- You are not just good in a team environment – you thrive in it
- Should be able to work under minimal supervision
- Thorough understanding of cloud architectures and trends
Your must have skills
- Demonstrated experience in the administration of a Microsoft cloud ecosystem, specifically management of:
- Dynamics 365 CRM
- Power Platform
- Active Directory
- AD B2C
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 management
- Azure VM
- Windows
- Security and Virus protection
- SharePoint and OneDrive
- Teams / Teams telephony
Highly desirable skills
- Experience with Microsoft Partner Centre
- Some experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience in using some form of wiki
- Knowledge of any database / data warehouse
- Knowledge of the Microsoft development ecosystem
In this role, you will:
- Manage our entire Microsoft technical operations engagement, including liaising with experts across Australia, the US and Europe.
- Map and implement new licenses for our clients as they come on board.
- Work within the Microsoft Partner Centre to manage aspects of our partnership.
- Evolve, define, document, implement, and maintain our Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
- Maintain and administer the various Microsoft and third party tools and applications used across our business
- Understand, optimise, implement, and maintain our Azure virtual systems and services
