For our final episode of season one we had the pleasure of chatting to Eddie Fitzgibbon, Co-Founder and Principal Consultant at Sports Rights Tech, a specialized sports agency focused on commercial consulting, rights analysis and sports tech advisory.

Eddie is a globally experienced, tech focused, commercial consultant, with over a decade of experience living and working with some of the world’s biggest sports rights holders and agencies in Sydney, Dubai, New York & Denver.

Globalization is impacting and influencing sport like never before, Messi is receiving a piece of the Apple pie through his deal with the MLS, cricket is launching into the US and Europe is well and truly making its mark on the NBA. With a career spanning the world, Eddie grasps an understanding of the global sports landscape few have, which is why he is a powerhouse in what he does. As Principal Consultant at Sports Rights Tech, Eddie works with sporting leagues, rights holders and agencies to transform their operations.

Hailing from Canberra, Eddie’s first role in sport sent him off to the UAE as a Development Events Manager with the International Cricket Council. Since then, Eddie has worked across multiple countries and organizations, developing a global understanding of sport second to none.
